Dear teachers and students:
Good morning! I believe all of you know that with the development of society, traffic safety is becoming increasingly important. Each of our classmates is a participant in society. That is to say, we participate in traffic as long as we go to school or travel on the road every day. Due to the large number of people and vehicles on the road, traffic participants often fail to observe the rules , resulting in traffic accidents. Therefore, Today, the topic of our speech is about traffic safety:
1. Walking safely
Walking may seem like the simplest thing to do. Actually, if we don't pay attention to traffic safety, walking can also cause trouble. Therefore, when we go to school, go home after school, and go out on holidays, we should enhance our awareness of self protection.Where there is no sidewalk, you should walk on the right side of the road. When walking, keep your mind focused, don't look around. don't cross the road randomly, and chase vehicles, and so on. Once knocked down by traffic, the results are very serious.
2. Don't rush across the road in front of and behind the car
Someone always likes to rush across the road in front of or behind the car. This is very dangerous. Places that the driver cannot see are referred to as "blind spots.". If someone crosses the road in a "blind spot" , it can cause an accident. So when we cross the road, we should pay attention to the traffic coming and going from left to right. Walking on "pedestrian crossings" is safer.
3. Civilized ride
When we are waiting for a bus, we should wait in order on the platform. After the car stops stably, let the people on the car get off first, and then drive in turn. When the vehicle is traveling, it is necessary to sit or stand firmly and grasp the armrest to prevent it from falling down during emergency braking. After you cannot extend any part of your body out of the vehicle and get off, pay attention to safety. Do not suddenly cross the road from behind or in front of the vehicle.
4. No cranes, no cars
Some students like to casually play with cars parked on the road, even stopping, chasing cranes, and throwing stones at vehicles in the middle of the road for fun. In fact, this is very dangerous and immoral behavior. Most are likely to cause accidents. When we discover such bad behavior, we should boldly discourage it.
5. Children under the age of twelve are not allowed to ride bicycles.
Urban roads are complex and vehicles are numerous. Due to the lack of life experience and poor adaptability of children, the "Regulations of the Road Traffic Law " also clearly stipulates that "children under the age of 12 are not allowed to ride bicycles on the road. If you reach the legal age for cycling, you must also carefully study the regulations on cycling. Both students and parents must wear helmets when riding electric bikes. Pay attention to traffic lights, and master the basic principles of safe cycling before embarking on the road.
Students, you are the future of our motherland. For your healthy growth, please consciously abide by the traffic laws!
